About Drv8825
Introduction:
DRV8825 stepping motor driver carrier is the junction board of DRV8825 micro stepping bipolar stepping motor driver for TI.
This module has almost the same pins and interfaces as our A4988 stepping motor driver carrier, so it can be used as a direct substitute for these boards with higher performance in many applications.
The DRV8825 has adjustable current limiting, overcurrent and overheat protection, and six microstep resolutions (as low as 1/32 step). Its working voltage is 8.2 - 45 V, and each phase can provide a current of up to 1.5 A without radiator or forced air flow (the rated current of each coil is up to 2.2 A with sufficient additional cooling).

Adjustable current control allows you to set the maximum current output using a potentiometer, allowing you to use a voltage higher than the rated voltage of the stepping motor to achieve higher step rates
Intelligent chopper control, automatically select the correct current attenuation mode (fast attenuation or slow attenuation)
45 V maximum supply voltage
Built in voltage regulator (without external logic voltage supply)
